Purchased in-utero as foundation stock for Brookhill, this young stallion has always had high expectations placed upon him.  From the beginning BH Opening Statement has exhibited not only classic Arabian type and presence, but also great freedom of movement.  Watching him gallop through the pasture - even at a young age - provides glimpses of his remarkable athleticism and motion.  Fortunately for us he also has a very even temperament because he has great size (15hh at 2 years)!

Obviously, Opening Statement was purchased on the strength of his pedigree, which has national and international champions on both the top and bottom side. 

Sire:  *Mishaal HP, received the highest rating as a breeding stallion from the German registry, and his sire Ansata Sinan was European Champion Stallion and World Reserve Champion Stallion.  *Mishaal’s dam Mesoudah is a full sister to Imperial Madheen - a champion who sired sons that become significant breeding stallions around the globe.  *Mishaal was named Champion Stallion, 10& Over and Reserve Senior Champion Stallion at the 2007 Egyptian Event.   (See full pedigree)

Dam: Nordic Britanna is not only a daughter of the 1994 Reserve National Champion Stallion Thee Desperado, but she is from a long line of Arabian mares who produce fantastic stallions.  Her dam Amiri Sanaa was also mother to Maistro (by The Minstril), 3-time South African National Champion Stallion and leading sire in South Africa.  Amiri Sanaa is out of AK El Sanaa, who produced Imextreme and Imtut. She also produced Sabiell, Egyptian Event Champion Stallion and Reserve World Champion who was exported to the Al Shaqab stud in Qatar.  AK El Sanaa is out of *Deenaa, a legendary and beloved straight Egyptian mare.  Some authors refer to “The *Deenaa Dynasty” she can be found in so many great stallions’ pedigrees.  In addition to the one listed here, she is also maternal granddam to Imtaarif, Anaza El Farid, and Anaza Bay Shahh.
