Trainer Jill Girardi Thomas has trained Arabians for over 30 years.  She started her career with straight Egyptians like *El Mareekh and *Deenaa.  She has now come full circle working with descendants of these greats at Brookhill, but in between she amassed a number of Egyptian Event, regional and national titles. 

Most importantly, however, Jill’s holistic approach to training acknowledges and respects the horses’ intelligence and nature.  In addition to breeding, mare & foal care, Brookhill offers a full slate of training services from beginner to national competitor with Jill’s leadership.

Owners John & Jéanne Abernathy embark on this Brookhill adventure as a true team effort – giving them the opportunity to work and play together with these amazing horses. John has built a successful career as a principal of Dryden Abernathy Architecture Design (DA|AD) in Nashville. Jéanne had a long career with Xerox Corporation before succumbing to her love of horses and finding a way to make a life with them! The remaining hours of their day are dedicated to their daughter, a budding horsewoman.
